Pam Darnall to discuss sustainability

Pam Darnall, Family & Children’s Place president and CEO, will be the guest speaker at an upcoming Nonprofit Leaders Network event in Louisville.

Darnall, who has been in leadership roles for more than 20 years, most of them in children’s services, will speak on the role of succession planning in sustainability. The Nonprofit Leaders Roundtable event is from noon to 1:30 p.m., March 11, at the American Printing House for the Blind, 1839 Frankfort Ave. Tickets are $25 and include lunch.

Topics Darnall will cover include:

  • Processes Family & Children’s Place uses to ensure successful succession for board, staff and volunteers
  • How to think through whether your organization is sustainable
  • Sharing and learning from others in similarly sized organizations about what’s working well for others.
