The Greater Louisville Head Start Program is committed to making sure ALL children have access to quality childcare program that prepares them to be lifelong learners.

That is why we are hosting a recruitment event on Friday, February 12th from 11:00-3:00 p.m. to enroll children in the head start and early head start programs.

Families living in the 40202, 40203, 40208, 40209, 40210, 40211, and 40212 zip codes are eligible to apply.

Children participating in the program’s center-based care will have access to high-quality care learning activities that support school readiness and help families access and navigate mental, health, and intervention services.

Information on the home-based early head start program for children up to 3 will also be available.

Donations of new children’s books will be collected as we work to bridge the literacy gap in underserved areas.

So, join us on Friday, February 12th between the hours of 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at Jefferson Mall to drop off a donation or to let us help ensure your child enters school prepared to learn.
