Glenda and Gordon Ford Foundation awards $2,020 to Family & Children’s Place

June 1, 2016

General services grant will help ensure continued care for children, families hurt by abuse

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (June 1, 2016) – The Glenda and Gordon Ford Foundation has awarded a $2,020 general services grant to Family & Children’s Place to help provide ongoing care for children and families impacted by violence, abuse and neglect.

The gift will allow the agency to provide more direct service support and care, rather than use precious and limited resources to cover operational costs. These non-restricted funds support the entire agency and contribute to our strategic plan to secure additional resources that will enable us to help even more children and families.

The Glenda and Gordon Ford Foundation primarily supports activities involving arts and culture, education,  human rights and religion serving academics, children and youth, economically disadvantaged and low-income residents in Kentucky.
