Congratulations to Jack McQuade, Family & Children’s Place vice president of Finance, for his selection as a Business First Best in Finance award winner.

The recognition evolved from the periodical’s CFO of the Year awards to recognize outstanding professionals working in a finance position at a Louisville-area company or nonprofit organization.

Jack has been at Family & Children’s Place since 2001, contributing not only in his finance role, but also as a member of the senior team where he brings not only his business and finance sense to the conversation, but critical thinking skills to make the agency more effective, efficient, and impactful.

Responding to the honor, F&CP President and CEO Pam Darnall said, “We are so happy that Jack McQuade is being honored by Louisville Business First as one of the 2018 Best in Finance honorees. Jack has provided critical leadership and superb financial oversight for Family & Children’s Place for 17 years.

This year, Business First asked four honorees from last year’s Best in Finance program to rate and judge the nominees, based on the strength of the applications and their own knowledge of the industry. Honorees represent financial professionals from a variety of sectors, but each share one common trait — they’re all standouts who have led their organizations to fiscal success.

Jack and his co-honorees will be recognized at an awards luncheon June 14 and in a special Business First publication on June 15.
