Heather Bruner, Family & Children’s Place director of Individual Giving (front row, right), is among 21 graduates of the Young Professionals Association of Louisville (YPAL) Emerging Leaders Program. The three-month experience helps address the leadership development needs of young professionals.

Sponsored by the UofL College of Business, Yum! Brands & YPAL Cares, the program includes 20 hours of training led by Chris Schulz, learning manager with Humana, to help participants identify their strengths, values and leadership style and get advice from community leaders. The class completed their coursework on Dec. 1.
