CAPER auctions chock full of great stuff!

February 8, 2017

As part of the 30th annual CAPER, Family & Children’s Place is hosting live and silent auctions that feature everything from tickets to zoos, museums and events to vacations in faraway places such as Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Gulf Shores, Ala., and Las Vegas.

Auction proceeds – all items are generously donated by individuals, companies, and destinations – support our work to protect and heal children and families hurt by abuse. The staff at the agency got involved, too, creating baskets for auction. The baskets run the gamut from gardening to ’80s nostalgia to family fun and a St. Patrick’s Day Salute.

But if you want to bid, you have to be present at CAPER, since all silent auction bids will be made via BidPal. Live auction bids will match most all any live auctions, with animated gestures and callouts, and Murray McCandless is our live auctioneer for CAPER. He’s great and getting the crowd excited and creating some spirited competition.

CAPER is Saturday, Feb. 18, 3-6 p.m., at the Galt House Hotel and tickets are still available here: http://bit.ly/2ivwXSU
