The Community Foundation of Louisville awarded a

$23,280 Fund for Louisville grant to Family & Children’s Place, funded by Lift a Life Foundation in partnership with the foundation. The grant will provide mobile technology to case managers who visit the homes of at-risk, first-time parents of newborns.

Each of the 11 recipients also has a chance at an additional $2,500 prize from the Community Foundation through a social media contest, where the public is invited to vote for their favorite nonprofit organization.

Voting will take place through a contest on the Community Foundation’s Facebook page, The winner of the $2,500 prize will be announced January 7th.
