When Robert Price, Sr., a single father working third shift, enrolled his sons in school, he worried about how they would adjust and how little time he had with them. When the school suggested Healthy Family Nights, he said yes. Now each week, no matter how tired he is, Robert lets his supervisor know he’ll be late. Healthy Family Nights are the one activity he and his sons

can count on to enjoy together.

Receiving a slow cooker as a fall incentive was especially meaningful. Robert had long wanted to cook simple meals with his boys, but the cost had been out of reach. Now, the family is excited to try new recipes together.

“It means the world to us,” Robert shared. “We’re learning, having fun, and most importantly – doing it together.”
