The Heritage Society

The Heritage Society is a group of donors who have made a gift to Family & Children’s Place in their will or estate plans.
Including the Family & Children’s Place in your will or trust is a meaningful way to help us continue to serve children in need. Many of our programs and services have benefitted from individuals who had the foresight to include the F&CP in their estate plans.

Ways to make your legacy last

  • Include Family & Children’s Place with a gift in your will or trust

  • A gift or assignment of qualified retirement plan assets

    A gift or assignment of qualified retirement plan assets, such as an IRS, 401(k) or 403(b) – Retirement funds paid to your children at your passing can get hit with income and estate taxes, but are tax-free to Family & Children’s Place.

  • Life-income gift

    A life-income gift that names Family & Children’s Place as a remainder beneficiary, such as a charitable remainder trust, or charitable gift annuity

  • A gift to our endowment

    An endowment is a permanent fund that provides annual support to Family & Children’s Place. An endowment lasts in perpetuity so that a regular stream of support is available to us every year. It enables us to pursue our mission in bigger and better ways.

  • A gift of life insurance

    Donate a policy and deduct future premium payments, or just name Family & Children’s Place as the policy beneficiary.

  • As a beneficiary of a bank account.
