Pam Darnall to take part in Bizwomen Mentoring Monday
February 5, 2018
Family & Children’s Place CEO to share guidance, support during empowering opportunity
This month, Pam Darnall, Family & Children’s Place president and CEO, will be among 40 community, nonprofit and business leading women taking part in the annual Bizwomen Mentoring Monday, sponsored by Louisville Business First.
Similar events will occur in other Business Journal markets the same day, and each mentor conversation lasts seven minutes. Attendees line up to wait for a particular mentor, or if there is a long line, can move to the next mentor available.
Participants typically network as they wait, which has proven to be as important as the coaching sessions, and the goal is for each attendee to meet and speak with at least one and as many as seven mentors.
Other mentors for the 2018 event include Dana Allen, Norton Healthcare; Wendy Dant Chesser, One Southern Indiana; Cathy Dykstra, Family Scholar House; Tammy York Day, Delta Dental of Kentucky; Teresa Reno Weber, Metro United Way; and Sadiqa Reynolds, Louisville Urban League.
