HANDS families share their love

August 10, 2016

At Family & Children’s Place, we care about what our clients think. We place a great emphasis on clients feeling like they are well served, that whichever program they access is helpful and delivering impact and proven outcomes. So, it’s especially satisfying when we hear from families about their experience, with staff, with the services and programs.

Recently, we heard from some of our HANDS families, sharing their thoughts and feelings about their parent visitors, Family Support Workers and overall impressions.  HANDS is a voluntary home visitation program for new and expectant parents that begins during pregnancy or shortly after the child’s birth. Our services help foster healthy pregnancy and births, stable child growth and development, safe homes and self-sufficient families.

  • I like the program because I learned how to raise my baby, what to feed my baby and what to avoid. I have also been able to share the information I got with my other friends. I want to enroll again if I have another child.

There is no better testimonial than to want to use the program again to ensure a happy healthy experience for the baby and everyone else in the household.
