Family & Children’s Place is excited to announce our participation in Louisville’s largest day of giving – Give for Good Louisville. We depend upon this 24-hour donation drive to support the critical services we offer to the Louisville community. On Sept. 14, starting at 12 a.m., you will have 24 hours to donate and to make a difference in a child’s life – like Rachel.

A bright 12-year-old, Rachel dreams of becoming a veterinarian. Unfortunately, Rachel’s parents are divorced and she’s living with her mother and two younger siblings. Her mother is gone most days, working two jobs trying to make enough money to support her family. Rachel helped her mom by caring for her siblings, but her grades started slipping.

After enrolling in our Collaborative Learning After School Program, Rachel is thriving thanks to committed staff and support from her new CLASP friends. Your donation during Give for Good Louisville will help children who need help; children like Rachel.
