Lots of news from the Family & Children’s Place Resource Development team!

Micah Jorrisch, director of corporate and community partnerships, was awarded a Rising Leaders Scholarship to attend the Alliance for Strong Families and Communities Senior Leadership Conference, planned for February in Austin, Texas.

Additionally, Heather Bruner, director of individual giving, and Mary Beth Kerekes, who manages institutional giving, were voted at-large members of the executive committee for Fund Raising Executives of Metro Louisville.

The Alliance conference, tailored to the networking and knowledge development needs of executives, directors, and managers at nonprofit human-serving organization, helps rising leaders achieve excellence and impact within themselves and their teams, organizations, and communities.

FREML works to build camaraderie and fellowship among nonprofit development officers in Louisville and engage them in learning opportunities to increase support for organizations across the city.
