Family & Children’s Place was thrilled to be at the epicenter of last week’s sold out premiere of the Beauty Mark Film, the locally produced, powerful and provocative film about child abuse.

The film drew rave reviews from the Louisville crowd! Following the viewing, F&CP President/CEO Pam Darnall joined producer Harris Doran and newcomer actor Auden Thornton and veteran Catherine Curtain, of “Orange is the New Black,” for a question and answer session, and we were excited by how committed crowd members were to understanding and helping to end child abuse.

Producers are seeking a mass distribution deal, but also hoping to arrange showings at a local theater! Keep an eye out and catch the film when you can!
