Last year, 41 Kentucky children and 53 Indiana children died due to child abuse and neglect.  These are urgent problems that know no boundaries and occur in every corner of our community.  April is Child Abuse Prevention Month and you can make a difference for children and families in our area.  Family & Children’s Place has launched a community-wide campaign asking individuals to do something tangible to help prevent child abuse.  Please join Family & Children’s Place in taking action to prevent child abuse – click on the Child Abuse Prevention Month link to the right for more information on how you can help.
