Agency president joins panel for ‘Resilience’ screening

Family & Children’s Place President/CEPO Pam Darnall will participate in a panel discussion surrounding the free screening of “Resilience: The Biology of Stress and the Science of hope, a film about the adverse impact of childhood trauma on children, their health and potential prosperity in life.

The screening is 5:30 p.m., Monday, Feb. 13, at the Clifton Center’s Eifler Theater, 2117 Payne St., in Louisville. Future screenings are at 5: 30 p.m., Feb. 23, at Durrett Auditorium, 4409 Preston Highway, and 7 p.m., March 2, at Spirit Filled New Life Ministries, 4936 Hazelwood Ave.

These gatherings are provided by the C.E. and S. Foundation, Humana Foundation and the Bounce Coalition, with support from WAVE-3, to reach a broad audience and create new understanding of how the community can organize and collaborate to strengthen resources for children and families.
